Experience Epping Forest by Bike.
Our hire centre is situated at Debden House camp site in Epping Forest, Loughton Essex. Bikes are available to pre-book all year round.
We have a selection of mens, ladies and kids bikes also trailers, tag-a-longs and baby seats. Our fleet of mountain bikes are from top brands Giant and Kona. With front suspension they are great bikes designed to ride easily on forest terrain.
A helmet and a map of the forest with suggested routes is provided. You will be safety briefed before your ride. A lock and tool kit can be provided on request.
School groups and corporate team building days are welcome and we can taylor the day to your needs. We also do guided rides by qualified trail leaders. Please contact us with your requirements.
Delivery and collection is available in and around Epping Forest for full day hires and pre-book only up to 24 hours notice may be required. The delivery & collection charge is £5.
The Trails
The best trails for beginners and families with young children are situated near High Beach.
We deliver bikes to the Visitor Centre at High Beach. You can also book a guided ride with us.

Easy to moderate trails are found all over the forest and we will suggest a route before you ride.
If you are a competent rider, joining the local mountain bike group for their ride is a great way to get to know the forest. They meet on Saturday mornings at 11:00AM sharp at Bury Road car park near Chingford train station. For more information please take a look at thier website on our

There is free parking at our centre in Debden House.
To Hire our bikes you will need:
- A debit or credit card for payment
- Proof of ID (passport or driving license)
- An adult to book if you are under 16
- To ride safely, respect the forest and others who use it.

The minimum cancellation period is 24 hours prior to your booking, payment will not be refunded if you cancel later than this.
